So c'mon guys with the big race tomorrow, who you had / who's your tip to win?

I can't see past Teaforthree especially with him being 5lb lower than last year - so I've had a cheeky £20 on him.

I have that

Find a new betting site, Bet £10 get £10 free, Find another one repeat. Guaranteed winner if you are competant i won 3 years in a row £250 and got second another year but ive not done it last year.

The favourite rarely wins. An outsider with big odds WILL be in the top 3-4 and normally my horses were aged around 8 or 10 i cant remember i think it was 8. Just look and see what tickles as i normally get one horse pop out and scream Back me back me! Like last year there was a 40-1 was it who got in the top 4 and he screamed at me but i never backed him. So there you go ill update here later when i put on a bet.

£10 @ paddypower and £20 free bets.

£10 on Shakalakaboomboom 33/1 EW
£5 on Walkon 33/1 EW
£5 on Teaforthree 10/1 EW
£5 on Prince De Beauchene 18/1 EW
£5 on The Package 16/1 EW

PP pay out to 5 places on EW bets

So far I've just got Tidal Bay in the work sweepstake. Will sort some bets out tomorrow, I normally make some money on it which is nice. Probably lose everything now i've said that.

Double Seven
Goonyella - Withdrew - replaced with Big Shu
Rocky Creek
One in a Milan
Colbert Station

All each way

I've narrowed my selection down to 7:

Monbeg Dude
Double Seven
Long run
Burton Port
the rainbow hunter
Alvarado
Battle group

Got to weed a few of those out but Long runs definitely a cut above all the other horses in the race and Alvarado's a very good outsider to place. Tidal bays also in the same league as Long Run but at 13 and with that weight I just can't bring myself to bet on him.

Always love a cheeky bet on the national. Won it 5 or so times since I was a wee kid :D

£5 Chance Du Roy @ 33/1
£5 Last Time Dalbain @ 50/1
£10 Tea for Three @ 11/1
£10 Vintage Star @ 50/1
£10 Rainbow Hunter @ 28/1
£20 Big Shu @ 20/1

If anyone has a bet365 account, it's worth backing all your selections E/W there.

They have an offer on, 50% cashback on your E/W bets up to £125. Basically giving you an E/W bet for the price of a win single. Not sure what time the offer ends, and they aren't allowing any new registrations today, their systems wobble at the best of times so I hear!
