Pc gaming on a tv

lol yeah to be fair, mostly when I'm gaming I'm slouched back in my office chair xD

only get hunched over if I'm realllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy trying to spot something (e.g. looking for people in the distance in rust who are literally a single pixel of colour xD) so my face needs to be against the monitor xD

I'm too scared of burn-in to use my PC on my 55" plasma.

It's supposed to be a non-issue these days but I'd rather not chance it!

For PC gaming its not an issue the constant graphics changing prevents this but most modern Plasmas have inbuilt tech to stop burn anyway.

Been doing this now for some time on 50" lg but the main problem is the missis she not in to watching me play games lol.

Just purchased and awaiting delivery one of these to go with my wireless m&k instead of a hardback book lol

I have my PC hooked up to the TV in my room, play all the games that require a pad on it.

Simply put the TV is bigger, brighter and better whilst it's nice to be able to not get out of bed to play a game. Most of my games are still Mouse KB though.

Yeah I have this problem. She was alright with walking dead (I put her in charge of making decisions for my second play through) because the story was good. Maybe try that?

I need a better system really. I have an old C2D work pc with a 6450 and SSD wedged in, so it just about plays Dirt2 at 720p acceptably, but is better for things like don't starve.

Browsing the web for longer than an hour is a shortcut to a brutal headache though.

Best thing i ever had to do was take the PC from my office to turn into a nursery, now game on the 42" plasma and love it. Ok so its lower res, 720p but i play on everything at max/ultra settings with zero slowdown. reclining on the sofa, feet up and now use a 360 pad. Played my first FPS Farcry3 with it and didnt miss the mouse once.

Yeah PC gaming is good fun on a Huge ass TV. used to have mine set up on my 50" 1080p plasma. Was really cool sitting on the couch playing Dayz, Planetside 2 etc. However, had to move all my PC gear into a spare bedroom once I started to play LoL as reaction times are important and even though it was ok playing LoL on a Plasma Tv still doesn't beat playing it on a dedicated PC screen at a desk.
