Survived a £10 Yodel next day delivery.

Powered up and displaying the cal signal on both traces.

Now maybe I can get more into fixing my other 1976 Vintage Gould oscilloscope, which has twice the bandwidth and a smells awesome.

She was getting a bit grubby so stuck her into the local beauty Parlour for a service, restring, setup and polish.

Just the two at the moment. I wouldn't mind some other equipment like function generator, frequency counter and things.

Old electronics is great. It keeps you warm, smells really old and just looks good. That's why they still use them on TV sometimes as props. Plus analogue scopes still beat digital in some respects.

Only cost me £27 plus 10 delivery. The non working scope was more, I think £60 or something but I did get carried away bidding on that one, and it did work for 10 months before breaking.
