i understand deleting the jokes as the forum is linked to a company ..(i generally would rather the jokes stay for people to make their own minds up on the posters making them).

I think that much is obvious... you are comparing a known forum member (usually another forum member has a close connection which is why we hear of it) to someone that people have negligible connection to (I won't say no connection as I don't know the entire member list )
