watchdogs min spec announced.....

So I can't run it because I have an i5 at 5ghz and not an i7 so don't meet the min threads - but it is not worth me upgrading my i5 because nothing is faster....riiiiiiight.

What are you talking about?

Minimum is: Quad core CPU (Intel Core2 Quad Q8400 or AMD Phenom II X4 940)
Recommended is: Eight core CPU (Intel Core i7-3770 running at 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core CPU running at 4 GHz)

System requirements always list stock clock speeds, they don't factor in overclocked systems.
 
I only game at 1920x1080 so I'm pretty sure my hex core and 7870 will play it quite easily with the AA turned down a bit. If it looks anything like those screens we saw a month or two back though then I don't see why it warrants such high recommended specs.

A lot of the earlier security issues with it have been patched but given their attitude towards it in that regard I'd rather just not have it on any of my systems. It is or was (I've not really kept up with the most recent developments) far more like a rootkit than even most other DRM and I've got no time for that.
 
This is going to be another la noire/heavy rain type game, interesting concept and good graphics, but something is missing type of game. :o

Will score around 80%/8out of 10 average I reckon, but we will see. ;)
 
I will wait until it's not on uPla, don't really want another app to be run to play a game, one of the reasons I got rid of Origin and all the games within it. STEAM or nothing.
 
I'm definitely waiting to see what this game reviews like, both with professional and users alike, before I spend my cash on it. Been burned too many times on preorders for games I expected to be good, to be greeted with something that should be sold for £10.

Much as I prefer Steam to Origin, you can once again take advantage of a very cheap pre-order price thanks to a VPN.

Watch dogs Digital Deluxe edition is 1,699.00 Indian Rupees which converts to £16.80. Bargainous.

1. Go to www.origin.com and turn on Hola and choose Indian (text should still be english)
2. Put Watchdogs Digital Deluxe in the basket (Rp. 1,699)
3. Open shopping basket and click proceed from lower right corner
4. Disconnect from your proxy just before logging in to Origin.
5. Log into your origin account
6. Buy it like normal
7. Order will complete as normal and you will get confirmation email and it'll instantly appear as a pre-order in your Origin account.
