I meant from proper news outlets such as the BBC. When do they ever report truly good news? Obviously you are too much of a sarcastic know it all to understand that though.

I think you ought to watch the News before you make silly comments. Just off the top of my head, this evenings news reported a fantastic uplifting story from Rwanda.

One story amongst the daily list of deaths, crimes, natural disasters and mystery's that probably result in the previous 3. Try cover it all you want, but british news is based on doom and gloom and always has been.

Yes, it is perfectly logical that this would be widely reported, given our celebrity and media culture. Give me one single reason that it isn't, despite your personal and subjective views on the worth of the celebrity in question.

In fact it's so simple and easy to explain, that if you actually need it explained then it's a tad worrying on your behalf.

I think you've misread me as I was actually defending what you'd said. Whilst the celebrity culture may not be entirely logical, your reasoning for why this is so widely reported is entirely logical.

Chill dem beans, man.

Turned off when she said you need a 9ft wide bed to sleep with a baby...

and I did it with my babies but many babies are killed a year by parents rolling onto them.

I'm not disagreeing with you but who will watch a News full of kittens and fluffy bunny's?

No as thats being completely unrealistic. I would like to hear new breakthroughs in science and technology though, plus journalistic pieces on people who give their time/money to charity. These are the stories that are shoved to the very back of the list when it comes to the TV and news papers, regardless of the source.

Just lost someone close to me 4 hours ago! :(

So to all the retards get a **** `n grip it happens to everyone.

If you close it hurts like hell, and I have to tell my 7 year old daughter in the morning! :(

So you know ******* retards, people die and it hurts like hell! :(

Another eloquent well-reasoned argument from Tefal.

My view is that this thread is just another news thread, no need to over-think it. It's a shame for the family, of course, and her celebrity status will always give her death more attention than someone whose sister's husband died.

It's not a 'how many RIPs can I get' competition, it's just a different situation.

That said RIP is a flawed phrase anyway, since the concept of 'rest' or 'peace' in death is ridiculous.

If you knew Tefal, you'd understand the response.

I actually agree with him, the_chicco deserved that.

I'm sorry to hear that.

aneurism on wiki

Whilst I appreciate the "accuracy" of wiki, My sister-in-law died of a brain aneurysm 18 months ago very suddenly, leaving my brother with a 1 and 3 yr old. She was also in her 20s.

No matter the cause, my thoughts do go out the her husband and children as I know what they will have to go through in the near future.

I might be able to help you because somebody was telling me something the other day about a recent technology that's come out that will be able for you to see the kind of news you want, I'll have to do some research.

Update:
Found it, it's called Google and you can search for any kind of news you want.
Here you go, found this in 5 seconds: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology/
