Currently we play Torchlight 2 and Minecraft.

Any other recommendations please? Minimum 3 players. Children are 8 and 6.

Thanks.

How young are the kids? Left 4 Dead 2 is awesome as co-op or versus for LAN. Been playing it nightly for the last week on LAN and loving it! :D

magicka would be a pretty fun choice I imagine. I mean it can get a bit complex/confusing with combining elements to create specific spells.... but that's half the fun.

and much like ghost busters (if you're using contradicting elements) don't cross the beams xD one guy doing water blast, one doing water.... cross.... both explode haha!!! many a hilarious moment was had :p

minecraft/terraria/starbound?

How about some the lego-genre games? Some of them must be able to cater for 3 players, surely?

My 6 yo plays Borderlands 1 & 2, Lego Batman/Indy/Starwars/Avengers, Space Marine and Halo etc. Some of these on XBox of course.

His fave is Minecraft still though.

He is currently trying to convince me to let him play DayZ but that may be a little advanced.
