Well, in that place where I got nothing that grips my fancy...

I'm not looking forward to Dark Souls 2 after a couple of recent releases being absolutely awful and huge let downs.

I've still got a tonne of AMAZING games to complete, Max Payne 3 (almost complete!), Assassins Creed 4, Splinter Cell Blacklist etc etc.

Just no drive to play them, does anyone have a system they have in place that lets them focus on one or 2 games at a time?

I dart between so many games I can't settle on just one.

Games have a lot to live upto these days to hold the attention of people with a long gaming history heh. If its not perfect/hasn't learnt the lessons from past games I tend to just walk away from them these days :|

Totally agree, recently got stuck into Batman Arkham Asylum again and loved it, I bought Arkham Origins and played it for maybe 10 mins and put it down...

Even though by it's own right, a decent game, it had NOTHING on the first one.

Same happened to me, very difficult for games to hold my attention, especially campaigns.

The Last of us was the last campaign game that actually made me want to make the effort to complete.

Get yourself involved in one of the communities, think theres quite a group of forum users playing BF4 atm. Having people to play with always helps.

I liked Max Payne 3, thought it was better than the second one personally.

I'm lucky, else I'd be in the same position - I'm hooky on a couple of games and can't seem to even contemplate about playing anything else!

Been the same for me. I started playing older games like monkey island, I'm really enjoying them. I think it's something about newer games that puts me off. It feels like they are made just to make money... I don't know...

In the same boat, titanfall kept me going for awhile but now it's just same old same old.Shame really as it can be fun but after a game or two it's rinse and repeat.

Waiting for mk8 to play with the family but until then I'll be avoiding games to try get my mojo back heh

play with people in groups mp . that's where the real fun is. sometimes the fun on voice coms and such is better than the game :p

Understand where your coming from. Turned 30 this year, got a really busy business so a lot of hours a week, then a mrs at home.

When I come home I stick with playing some online games with some mates on TS.

Quick games of fifa14 or Dayz SA when i feel like a longer session.

Standard of games these days have dropped a lot though. Maybe it's just the age.
Sloppy releases (BF4 etc just taking the ****)

Only game that I play is company of heroes 1 it never gets old for me.

Everything else sits greyed out in steam including day z which is still a let down.

The whole kickstarter thing is bad for gaming it gives publishers the green light to release unfinished buggy games in the guise of full releases.

People are used to every game being an ongoing project so it's okay to release games unfinished.

Ive always struggled on single player games, i see them , get motivated and buy them then just lose motivation straight away lol. Ive always been a multiplayer person as i just like the competetive nature of it, il always have that i think no matter how old i get. But i would like to complete some of the single player games i have, i have so many built up though haha. The only games i tend to complete are GTA games, or similar for example sleeping dogs... I guess everyone has there tastes.

This thread inspired me to fire up Assassins Creed III last night to try and finish it.

Got through 2 more sequences, but started falling asleep playing it! Not a great sign.

Doesn't help that I just spent ages with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero because that does Stealth so much better than AC3.

It does feel like i'm doing it for the sake of completing rather than because I am enjoying it.

I thought Max Payne 3 was the pinnacle for the series in terms of actual gameplay.

Just fell a little flat in the story department compared to the other two releases.

It sounds like most people here are suffering from a common condition - toomanygamesitis. I hate it and I wish it didn't happen :(
