Only thing that im a bit meh at is third person - i suppose this has been dealt with before? Seems a bit strange, all the high fidelity emphasis, then have you flying external view 100 feet behind your ship. Suppose it makes sense for gamepad controllers but still, given the option why would anyone fly cockpit and lose the huge difference in peripheral vision?
 
I have both the freelancer and the cutlass and I'm leaning towards the cutlass for my main ship, the freelancer for safe route hauling.

I don't think they're actually "playing" in third person, more messing around/testing/show for camera. You have no indicators or anything in third person.
