I pointed it out years ago but was labelled a crazy conspiracy theorist. Now that an offical study has come out will any heads roll?

They faked the whole flu pandemic to push their tamiflu on to the governments. Coincidently major politicians were holding stock in the tamiflu.

The UK government stock piled £100 millions worth of useless medicine that does not even work. I think the people involved in this should all be fired and arrested for fraud. No excuse!

Think you've got the wrong end of the argument. They've hedged their bets on the wrong horse. Tamiflu is no more effective than 'takeing a paracetamol'. The pandemic wasn't faked, just didn't take off as bad as WHO and the Media (very important scaremongers) made it out to be.

Still a threat, but not as worrysome as them Spiders and Giant Rats!

This is fraud global billion £ fraud and if you can't see that then there is no hope.

The Cochrane Collaboration researchers have not placed the blame on any individual or organisation, instead saying there had been failings at every step from the manufacturers to the regulators and government.

Of course, it is the public sector, where else could you hand half a billion £ to a pharmaceutical giant on non existing frivolous threat for a non working medicine and get away with it.

The pandemic was a complete fraud. The media were complicit, remember the media get millions from big pharma in ads every year. The media push their medicine for them.

I remember reading at the time that stockpiles of Tamiflu would have to be destroyed within about a year if it wasn't used, it shows how easily big business and the media are able to influence governments around the world if anything.

I wouldn't be suprised if a lot of drugs are about as effective as those fake mine detectors that bloke was selling to the MOD for use in Afghanistan.

The entire pandemic was orchestrated conspiracy from big pharma. The regulatory agencies are all in on it with the CDC and similar working with big pharma to push their medicines on to governments and the population.

They did it, they got away with it already. Nothing going to happen to them now, no public sector procurement employee is going to lose their jobs. No regulatory agency is going to question why they were encouraging the state to spend half a billion £ on stocking piling some ineffective and soon to expire medicine.

The roche culprits are sitting on beach somewhere enjoying their cut.

no one is about to believe a pharmaceutical company, but one would not be stupid enough to engineer a real pandemic.

So if they did do it, it would be a pretty lame bug, which it was.

How those of us that were previously blissfully unaware, can you explain the entire thing in as much detail as you can muster? The quoted article just said the medicine wasn't very efffective.

I wouldn't take one report's word for any medicine being either ineffective or harmful, I'll wait for peer review and further testing. We don't want to jump to conclusions on one report like many did with the MMR.

In terms of whether it was wasted or not, I don't know, the government often has to do something even if it's ineffective, I imagine if the drugs weren't stock piled there would be many who would criticise the government for not doing anything.

Even if it's only mildly effective, or only effective in certain circumstances, if there was a pandemic I'd rather have something than nothing.

Was working in A&E at the time this all happened. Whatever the outcome and conclusion of the report everyone was pretty nervous about H5N1. We have several people come in seriously ill requiring ITU and HDU. There was huge general consensus to air on the side of caution but I certainly don't agree with the quantities that were stockpiled. Tamiflu was being given out like antibiotics at some stages. Almost as if anyone who came in with a fever was presumed to have it unless there was another obvious diagnosis on presentation.

The real sickening thing is that tamiflu has been licked to some terrible side effects, including but not limited to early on set touretts, neurological disorders. Real sick people push this crap. I don't know if you remember that one article back in 09 about that girl that took tamiflu and she picked up Narcolepsy.

This pandemic hysteria is a great mechanism for big pharma to manipulate governments and the population into purchasing medicine and vaccines, that is something we must weary of going forward. If we want to learn from our mistakes.

Our whole family had this stuff around the time of swine flu, we all got it for free because my brother had cancer a few years ago and his immune system was still recovering

Absolutely the correct use of it. Much of the emphasis was on protecting specific vunetable patients.
