Just thought I'd post here that there are very strong rumours and hints from Samsung that the Note 4 will be revealed at a show in September. This may affect some people's choices.

True. Though I don't use those apps. I have far more to gain than lose with root access.

Getting more and more tempted to get one of the new phones! I know I shouldn't though, as they're not a huge change from my Nexus 5.

Ah well, maybe I'll go play with the M8/S5 in a shop and see how I feel about them.

I ended up getting a M8 today to give it a try, first impressions are very good, will have a good play over the weekend and decide on it.

Difference is I've trialed all the top devices I like and they've all underwhelmed so far :-P

One+1 or the Nexus 6 for me.

Seeing as the M8 is going back because of the disappointing battery life (possibly due to a defective battery)

Compared to the Note 3, so far I gotta say the battery seems impressive on the M8. I think you got a defective unit mate.

I reckon so too Mate. It's being returned to Amazon tomorrow, got a N5 as a stop gap ordered and that should be delivered tomorrow.

Going to wait and see what the One+1 phone brings to the table on the 25th April then make a decision and see whether i'll go back to the M8.

What do you make of it so far? I really like the phone, the speakers, the music playback via headphones are excellent. The phone is very fast and fluid too, I like what they've done with Sense 6 as well.

All in all an excellent phone, plus the camera isn't shabby at all.

@kona Yes I think you should go for it Dude, DSR does work wonders especially if it's bought from your favourite store!!
