Hey guys ive got an alternative AA for you that works just as well as TXAA, but with NO performance hit.

1. Squint your eyes.

Sounds hard on your eyes easier to have a few nips of your favourite spirit then play :)
 
Actually scenes with high ambient occlusion are easy to tell apart. There are a lot of light sources in the game that don't cast shadows as they should and this is where AO helps. I've not disabled it in AC4 but I will show some comparisons in Blacklist. I don't think shadows really play much of a role in AC4 but at night you may notice it.


Also I have been there for all the SP games Shank, and Conviction is by no means the worst.

For me it goes from best to worst ; Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory > Splinter Cell > Splinter Cell Conviction > Splinter Cell BL > Splinter Cell 2
