Was on the way to a friends last night from the dual carriage way and to my surprised I saw a mobile speed camera on the middle of the island off the slip road. I've never seen one at night and thought they operate when its light.

I wasn't in any rush last night but the way it was facing it looked suspicions what it was trying to catch.

attached is my diagram.

I saw it at 12:10 last night in the morning and when I left to go back home it was still there at 1am.

Maybe an ANPR van, looking out for the uninsured kids going into the Maccy D's / Riverside retail car park?

The A43 up from there has average speed cameras at 50mph so there'd be no point looking for speeders there.

Did see it was an ANPR van, so they only catch uninsured motors and not speeders or both? Weston Favel is not far off the A43 lol so it has its trail of trouble.
