BF4 Mantle flickering help

In DirectX I always suffered from the odd patch of flickering grass, if I turn around and looked back again it had often disappeared, it's always been the same for me on BF4 on my CF7970's and now on my CF290X's.

This afternoon I gave Mantle a little try, and I'm pleased to say this has fixed my grass problem, however it has replaced it with random flashing lines often in a group of 7 going one from side of the screen to another too quick to get a screen shot, similar to what you would see if you had overclocked your memory on the GPUS's too high, I'm running the CF290X's standard.

Any ideas? I didn't get these lines in DirectX however.
 
Fraps doesnt work to record and the line flash is to quick to screen shot, happens every couple of minutes, looks like hardware but doesnt do it any other time or in Titanfall. Only happens using Mantle, thanks for your help btw.
 
where did you get those from Matt? do you have any release notes? Do they fix the powertune bug?

Hmm actually i don't know if it does still remain. I just tested sleeping dogs with +100mv and 1175/1550 and there was no clock dropping. The core clock dropped 1mhz during a scene transition but that was it.
 
Have you seen any gains at all with the new drivers?

14.4 are 295x2 review drivers. Not officially released by AMD, leaked via Guru3D. Basically 14.3 with powertune fixed. Don't think there are many other changes, aside from a Titanfall crossfire profile added.
