HTC One M8 vs Sony Xperia Z2?

Actual photographers have said the opposite. Aiming a landscape picture and snapping a shot in auto mode isn't what I would call a decent review.

With a bit of care, this is possible.

While I don't disagree that the M8 can take a fine shot, the UFocus thing really bothers me. From your link, see here. There's an unblurred section all the way around the edge of the sign that immediately detracts from the effect, and I can't help but notice it in all of the UFocus images. I wonder if this is something that can be fixed in software?

EDIT: It always seems to be more pronounced on the right hand side of the subject. Presumably that's down to the parralax error produced by having the depth-finding camera on the left of the image sensor, and the software doesn't know how to map that bit.

The reviews disagree with you :).

You shouldn't always listen to reviews, the best review you can get for a phone is trying one out yourself.

I'm using the M8 now and the camera is more than good enough, I have no idea why people keep thinking it sucks.
