Cheapest PAYG or similar?

I used to have an Ovivo sim as a secondary number for e.g. a phone number I was happy to post on the interwebs for selling stuff online.
Unfortunately they seem to have gone bust so I'm in need of another.
The Ovivo deal was great, they gave me a few minutes/texts/data a month for the grand sum of £0 (probably why they went bust

)

My main number is with Three so it'd be better to have a different network in case of technical problems or unexpected bankruptcy etc but from what I can see, they seem the cheapest for PAYG offering 3p/min, 2p/text and 1p/MB (and currently on the One Plan with unlimited internets inc tethering and basically unlimited everything else for £18/month rolling contract - I try to hate them but they make it hard, all their stuff is great atm

)

So any suggestions that come close to Three? I don't expect to use many minutes/texts/data at all so a monthly contract is not the way to go.. think maybe 5-10 texts/minutes a month average, if that

How much data do you use? I have beeb looking into the same for someone else.

The 321 tariff on 3 might be expensive if you use a lot of data. It is 1p a MB - if you use 1GB in a month that comes in at £10

I am looking at GiffGaff at the moment. They seem to be working out cheaper if you use a reasonable amount of data.

if you are looking for minutes then 3 is a better bet. for data however they have their addons.

As it's a second sim I won't be needing data on it at all. The trouble with GiffGaff looks to be that their goodybags don't roll over which makes them financially unviable - the smallest goodybag would otherwise probably last me a year.

You also get a stack-able 30 day 150mb internet allowance for every £5 you top up.

Right well sounds like there's nothing out there like the Ovivo deal

think I'm gonna end up with a second 3 sim - best hope they don't go bust too!
