Choppy cutscenes and killscenes in The Witcher 2

The game runs great at 60fps on high settings, but whenever I encounter one of these scenes the video and audio become choppy and fragmented. It can be rectified by quickly Alt-tabbing out and entering the game again, but I don't want to have to do this all game.

Any help / suggestions ?

Do you have ubersampling enabled?

No. Ubersampling is turned off as is DOF and all blooms.

What about DOF in cutscenes? That's a separate option to regular DOF.

is your fps 25/30 fps? many cut scenes do drop to those.

OK. I will have to check this out when I get home from work. I'm unsure about this.

It's rather like a slideshow and the sound assets are all over the place.

So, I played for 3 hours last night with no problems, after disabling this option.
