I removed around 6 cast iron pipes yesterday and I kept them safe

Do you think they are worth selling? If so how much can I expect to get for them?

Could you feasibly use them to make an approximate, life-sized replica of a QF Ordnance 17-pounder anti-tank gun? If so, I have a tenner with your name on it.

If they are in good condition then they may be worth quite a bit to someone thats restoring a listed building or one in a conservation area that has to replace like for like materials.

We remove a large number of cast iron water and sewage pipes between 150mm and 2500mm diameter.
We chuck every single one, as they just aren't worth anything even in good condition.

yes it was hard work, those bits of iron on the clips on the wall go everywhere!
one of them ended up smashing into my head - I wasn't looking upwards at the time :(
lots of sudo cream on the gash right now :) lol
