Anyone recently upgraded on 3, did you get any good offers?

Hey guys,

I got the one plan for my s3 contract a couple years ago (its up in couple weeks) and was wondering if anyone else has gone for their upgrade over last month or so and actually had any decent deals or do they try to bump u up to the new prices?

I was offered 33 a month unlimited calls/texts/5gig data from o2 with an s5 earlier when i picked up my g/f phone. Sounds decent really but wondered if 3 are likely to offer me a free phone on my 34 a month or try to bump me up to 38/42 etc?

So what deals have u been offered by 3?

I didn't get any good offers, just the same as anyone joining them.I just kept my phone and went on a sim only monthly deal.

I've found unless you have more than one contract phone with a provider they often don't budge or give any decent deals. I've two in my name and other family members registered at one address. This gives IMENSE power when negotiations come upon renewal in my favour.

They didn't offer me anything special either, though they did wipe off my early upgrade and phone fees.

600 min, unlimited texts and data for £40. Free phone.

aye see, i dont want them putting my price UP, i expected to stay on my 34 a month and get a free phone upgrade. As thats looking unlikely i think i will just have to jump ship to another provider.

If i go with a new provider now, and there are a couple weeks before i get my pac code, would i be able to change the number over at that point or is that too late? Do i need to wait until i can get the pac before i get the new phone?
