Anti-Kink Coil shopping

Hello all,

I am having a nightmare trying to locate a source for 1/2" black or red anti-kink coil, not the spring-loaded stuff.

Perhaps the sizing and/or colours are not popular at the moment but it seems crazy that no one outside of the US is stocking it.

Kustom PCs had a single length of black listed as stocked but it doesn't actually exist.

If anyone could point me towards a stockist, it would be very much appreciated. Gloss, matte or UV, at this point just the right colour would suit me.

Couldn't you get any right sized one and paint it?
can of plasi/paint should do the trick no?

I suppose I could but I am a very lazy modder, for starters ;)

Also, I think it would be an absolute nightmare to get all the angles on a coil. To get an even finish would be very difficult with all the stopping and starting on the spray job.

Haha, yeah, It takes some practice :p

An Idea is hang it from a fine hook on some fishing line etc, twirl it round and while it spins back the other way do a steady up and down stroke with the spray, should give an alright coat and as the coil has a lot of spaces it'll get it all.
Maybe a light weight on the coil to stretch it out a bit
 
Thanks for the spray tips, a slow spin would work well. I'm going to call that "Plan B" for now and attempt to get a supplier to order some in :)

People Dont stock it generally because its no longer needed.

Tubing doesn't kink as easily, there are more fittings around now because of how popular w.cooling is now, meaning you can get the angles you want better and also the anti kink coils look horrible :/

I'd get coloured tubing/fluid and then get different coloured fittings if you want a different colour there too
 
I guess I must be stuck in the past then, as I love the look of coils!

To expand a little, I have two loops in this new build. Clear tubing with Mayhem's Aurora. Black and Red liquids. The Black would have red coils and the red would have black.

Always been a fan of thinner tubing, which looks messy with coils.

The aurora is going to lose its aurora effect and become dull and clear-ish after a little while, depending on the size of the loop. Not really an issue (if you don't mind the resultant look), as it still performs great and doesn't 'clog' stuff up like people assume it does.
 
kink coils when done properly, like when it is contrasted against tubing/ fluid can look good.

The yellow and black above I like but all down to opinion and in a way fashion. Maybe they are now out if fashion and rigid tubing is in?
