ive got the sony smart watch 2 and never use it. Ive used it once since getting it. But that watch just looks awful. Just my opinion though

Wouldn't it make sense to use AMOLED screens in these seeing as most of the time it'll just be using 1/10th on the screen to display the actual time?

Yeah its waterproof. I've wore it while out in the rain. And it's been fine.

Screen burn much?

AMOLED screens lose brightness over time and so static images are bad as the brighter parts start fading first.
