Picked mine up this morning and have had a brief look while it was updating to 4.4.2 and I have to say I'm quite impressed at first glance! 
Bought it originally for the missus but I think I will probably end up keeping it and letting her have my Galaxy Tab 7.7!!!!

HDUK is a blessing and a curse for things like this. 99% of people seem interested in buying one for themselves but the remaining 1% aka ring pieces just want to buy them all to put on eBay. Hope those people get royally ******

All stock went to stores according to my store today, they had loads. Same as with the moto g when it was out online but stores had 8 and 16gb in stock.

Yeah, if we had a store I'd be there, but the nearest store is about 25 miles. Had one in the basket earlier before I came over all sensible and started debating with myself.

So having a play with this and it stands up to a nexus 7 but the 8.3" screen is so much better than a 7".
Best deal on a tablet for a long time.

Does anyone know if the black version was discounted as well? I know it was only available in white online but I'm now questioning whether I should cancel my order and go shopping.
Only the white one was available in store according to the staff
Ordered the white one earlier after a couple of looks at different reviews and the comments in this thread about smoothness of the interface and battery life issues being sorted by the latest update. I hope it's as much of a bargain as I'm expecting it to be!
