780 to 780ti

Yes its faster but IMO I would not upgrade from a 780 to a 780Ti unless you need more VRam and wait on the 780Ti 6GB so you would gain faster Core+VRam.
What is your CPU (I though it was the Intel C2D till I seen Mobo is AMD Chipset).

With respect if your planning on doing that with the CPU in your signature? then more often than not the performance increase you will get is 0!

When gaming I have enough trouble figuring out if I am using 1 or more cards as visually the difference is often non existent, going from a fast card to a slightly faster card is going to make practically no difference at all.

I was contemplating this but didn't do it in the end, kept the 780. Save your monies for the next gen and a better cpu.

On a serious note my 780 GHZ at its out the box boost will match reference clocked 780tis in benchmarks, obviously you can clock a 780ti up to performance that a non-ti can't reach through over clocking but thats another story.

Lurked a very long time, long enough to know you love your hardware and always go on about the super duper golden sample you have with all previous GPU's also. 
Cannot really compare clock differences on OC models and vendors vary it, clock for clock is where it really is for example a 780 vs Ti at same clocks but at end of the day the final OC does count as that is what you will be gaming with and getting the end FPS with.

Not talking clock for clock obviously a 1GHZ 780ti will beat a 1GHz 780 just saying that my out the box 780 GHZ clocks will match in benchmarks FPS for FPS a reference clock 780ti which is quite nice.
(PS My 780 GHZ isn't _that_ special its a nice out the box boost for a 780 but 1 in 3 GHZ edition apparently hit the same 1188 boost clock).

Often but not always its just E-Peen, A few extra FPS on top of 100 will make no difference, if your pushing maxed out Crysis 3 settings ~10% will make little to no difference to 40 FPS.
The <£100> extra cost between the 'Second Fastest' and 'Fastest' is really just so you can say "I have a 780TI or 290X"
