How judgemental are you to parents?

Its nice to hear a story from the other side like Gilly's

people are very quick to judge.

maybe in some cases its best to just tut and move on :P

I imagine he was judging me on my appearance. I was in trainers, joggers and a t shirt. Whilst I may have been dressed as a chav, I wasn't shouting and swearing at my child, and nor would I.

Sometimes kids act up. It is, in fact, an important thing that they do so you can demonstrate how that doesn't work to get what they want.

Think of the term 'well adjusted'. It means there had been a transition. Kids are not born well behaved. That is a product of their environment and the way they are treated.

It's not really the other side though. The thread title is quite general but the main thrust of my point is much more specific. Like I said, kids act up, that's not the point of the thread, it's when parents pretty much don't care about the upbringing of their kids either through neglect or ignorance.

Gilly's post doesn't fit into that by a long shot.

Wow you have my respect 1 child with autism can be an absolute nightmare at times I can't imagine 3 you must have your work cut out for you

how old are they

9 7 and 3 we found out about 7 year old just a misses fell pregnant with youngest then school suggested looking at older boy so just after baby was born we got the diagnosis of older lad and youngest just had his diagnosis.

It was only hard work when we had no clue what to do but have learned how to manage it all and to be honest unless its bad weather kids are normally the best behaved anywhere we go most important thing we learnt was pick your battles
