Hi, I need help with building my upcoming gaming machine and the budget is 1100£ not including accessories. Also i already decided to go with define-r4 case.

I just want to emphasize that this PC will be 90% for gaming and 10% for other things such as movies, music, internet.

Also very important is that the PC will be as quiet as possible .

THANKS!

thanks.
about the case, i still think ill stay with the define-r4.
Also i wondered about why Sapphire and not MSI for 290? why not choosing better power supply?

and i know you probably choose this because it more quiet but the Corsair Hydro H100i is a bit to expansive for me.

i forgot to mention that i might do some cpu OC in the future when needed.

Fair enough on the case, as OCUK don't stock Fractal, ill keep the Antec in as a place holder. :)

No reason really, just heard good things about the Tri-X, though this Powercolour, PCS+ looks stunning. I think id choose this for the extra £10+ (more stock OC).

The PSU is a great unit, just happens to be on a stunning offer. It has a GOLD rating and has Superflower as its OEM. :)
The only thing it has going against it is it isn't modular. With the case you're looking at that is not a problem atall.

The h100i is a little OTT, so for £50 the K2 is immense. Yes, you could get a decent cooler for £30 but the K2 is one of (if not) the best air coolers around. And for £50 its an absolute steal. Any OC you thow at it, it will handle with silence and ease. :)

still not too sure about this PSU. I dont think 550w will be enough for the r9 290. and i also prefer an half/full modular. what do you think on this one? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-103-NX I would i wish it could come in black :/

The PSU has all the power you could want for £74 and it's black'ish.

The cooler matches the red bits of the other parts, reviews for it are good and it is up there with the best in terms of performance and noise.

The SSD is just a solid item but so is the Samsung. I run a pair of those Kingston drives and they have been faultless.

750w is a bit too much i would say. also its bronze. don't you think this will be the better choice ? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-001-EA&campaign=affiliate/tag

and what about the CPU cooler?

That EVGA is made by FSP, still a good brand but no reviews, I notice the PCI-E cables are red too, suppose that may help.

The Nemesis cooler should fit in a R4 case which can take upto 170mm if the side fan i removed. I picked it mainly because its different yet still performs amazingly and fits in.

also im not sure i'd like to remove any of the case fan so maybe i'll go with the other cooler

If you want amazing and concerned about getting the best and latest greatest parts for your money then wait for Z97 and a bit after they come out the new Haswell K series refresh is due.
