Hey

So i51 is nearing an end. I have already gone home as I have to work tomorrow.

I had an amazing time, which was made more amazing by the people I met and had the pleasure of gaming with.

Best bit for me was the cos play competition!

A big shout out to OCUK for the mouse they gave me. Stuck their logo on my projector ;)

I didn't get many pics as I was having to much fun. But the all important ocuk one I do have!

I remember i4 well, our clan almost being thrown out after returning drunk from a club and finding the remote to the hall TV and finding the pr0n channel. So much fun back in the early days. Looks quite professional now :)

I used to enjoy going to the I series stuff back around I8-15 I think, and a lot of the people there were in relationships (some even managed to get their GF to go or at least spectate for an afternoon).

I never went to any of the i-series of events but can still remember the early ones being a hot subject in my wireplay days back in 1999/2000. I used to love playing TFC on their servers.
 
Good to see this still going strong. The only one i ever went to was i5 (i think) held in Swindon. Had so little sleep over the weekend that i had to stop on the way home to have a snooze!
Ended up spending much of my time on the Multiplay irc! I suppose todays equivalent of people in the same house texting each other lol
 
I went to i15 and i19, both at newbury racecourse I think. At i15 I was on the ground floor (fine) but at i19 it was the borderline tropical 1st floor. Some people kept getting thermal cutouts on their machines!
 
My first LAN and located in the 2nd floor LAN hall. Totally enjoyed it and have spent most of the time on TESO. Had some great moments on BF4, CS:GO and TF2, clan games are always a laugh.

I went to i15 and i19 too, good times.

I remember when it was all fields, looks too commercialised now

I went to i5 and i6 and had the time of my life, meeting all the people I had only spoken to online for years. Just wish it was more central, I can't drive and it's 350+ miles away from me.

I guess I wouldn't enjoy it now it looks super corporate and the "Gaming Service Provider" has gone the way of the dodo, I miss the close-nit, everyone knows everyone else scene of Wireplay and Blueyonder Games.

Those were the days. I went to i17, i19 and i26 with my clan and we had a right laugh all weekend. Have they sorted the aircon out yet? It used to be like an oven in there.
