Hey folks,

So I was at Insomnia i51 gaming festival this year and was amazed to see Overclockers there! I was amazed because I've used them for a while and had no idea they'd have a stand set up, so it was a really nice surprise :).

Did many of you go to the event? What did you think? What were your highlights?

Many of you may be aware that there was a competition for a gaming PC running well I've got a picture submitted and I'm chasing down the leader. If any of you kind folks could help a fellow Overclocker win it I'd really, really appreciate it. Takes 2 seconds you just need to hit vote :)

Even if you don't vote on my picture, let me know what you thought about the event, I had a blast :).

Please read the rules on 'vote for me' threads'.

There's rules regarding competition threads, which even mods seem to be ignoring recently judging by the amount of threads popping up and not being closed cough kids move out thread cough cough

I apologies if I've broken the forum rules and if that offends you. I was wracking my brain for where to post this which might garner a bit of conversation and maybe a few votes from kind folks. I can understand why there are rules though so if the mods have to remove it I understand.

I take it you weren't at i51? Overclockers were delivering hardware straight to peoples desks with discounts, it was incredibly tempting!

I won't get myself in more trouble by posting a link to i51! but google it :) Id love to know who from OCs staff was actually there, seemed to be quite a few.

competitorception!

Also, can't vote for yours when there's a hot booth babe being maintained mid-air by three typically studly LAN goers. /swoon

That guy in the sticker bikini was hilarious all weekend, he made it his mission to get naked and drunk the whole time. An inspiration to all LAN goers!

I went as a day visitor on Saturday. I agree it was nice to see Overclockers there doing there thing! That said I cant help but think that it should have been called InMinecraft as that's pretty much all I spotted being played lol. would have been good to of took my rig and took part however could not spare the time this year round.

I went to i32, at that time Counter Strike Source was the main game and Team Fortress 2 had just come out and a lot of people were playing that.

Also Call of Duty 4 was released on the day the event started.

Was awesome but I wouldn't go to a LAN now as the popular games don't interest me much, a retro LAN would interest me a lot more.

Mr Moon...still up to your old tricks of being the world police? What a sad lonely individual you are. "Judging by the amount of threads popping up"...you meant mine...1 thread. I'm sure the mods will be for ever in your gratitude for pointing them out.
Is it just "Vote for Me" threads that send you into a frenzy? Or do you have a list?

Anyways OP I'll have a looksee and if deemed worthy I shall vote :D
