David Moyes disgracefully sacked

To be fair to Fergie, he had won a couple of league titles and 8 major honours in total domestically in a league historically dominated by 2 clubs. Mostly by 1 club ;)

He also had a a couple of European honours to his name (if you include the Super Cup).

Not disagreeing with Fergies record at all but to be fair the comments about United plundering at ease are well just, well nots get in trouble, lets just say, inaccurate

Lets look at Klopp or more importantly Dortmund. Unless there is a MASSIVE change in fortunes in the Bundesliga, his realistic chances of winning the league are pretty slim. Given the resources he would have at Utd, would it be fair to assume he would have a better chance on winning the league here more times in the next ten years than he would in Germany ?

Depends on their definition of "bad" I guess, but few managers at the very top would classify Utd as bad in employmemt terms as lomg as they can handle the pressure

There are actually lovely places to live in Cheshire especially all easy commutes to OT / carrimgton ( compared to other locals in England rather than Europe)

The managers being banded about as replacements who are currently in gainful employment would be mad to leave their respective posts to go to United. Its a 2-3 year project for whoever takes over to sort that mess out down there. Moyes has ruined the side.

Did he actually sign Varela? I thought that was left over from the Fergie regime.

But regardless whether it's 3 or 4. He's had two transfer windows and it is not his performance in the transfer market that is why he should go.

I clicked on the link not knowing who he was... found out it was something to do with foot ball, The only thing less important than religion

I think it was one of Fergie's signings but he officially came in on the 1st of July with Moyes.

is he sacked yet?

Current situation is they'll likely do it tomorrow and at least before the weekend.

There's no point keeping him, his position is completely untenable now, and the club would have put the rumours to bed if they weren't true. Instead, they're just refusing to comment.
