Go and watch film of the Masai tribe, they will walk straight through a pack of lions when they are fed.
Lions only kill to eat, if they didn't there would be dead animals all around them and they would be wasting food.
Get some David Attenborough down your neck.

I don't see the problem, sution was staring the mother in the face.

Simply sacrifice one of her kids to the lions. She could realistically get by with just the one, and think of the savings.

animals are scared of fire even lions which is why they all watched the smoke..

They were never in any real danger unless they did something stupid like move away from the burning car before someone else travelling around the park could pick them up which would have been a few minutes wait tops
