I've been to the restaurant in Leicester square, Chiquito i think, it was alright.

Anyone know a secret taco buffet anywhere ?

or recommend another place?

Street food? Does Borough market do a Mexican style thing.. Not been in ages.

Wahaca is the first one that comes to mind and they've sprung up everywhere in the last few years seemingly. The Canary Wharf one was nice when I went though :p

Cafe Pacifico is still my favourite cheap-ish and extremely cheerful Mexican-ish place to eat in London, although it's far from authentic cuisine and tends to stray more towards the Tex-Mex end of things.

Loads of fun around Cinco de Mayo and Día de Muertos though.

Wahaca seems to be spreading inexorably over London, which is a good thing as the standard of their food is incredibly high and it's very authentic, and you're never too far away from one of their places or occasional pop-ups.

Luardos is worth checking out, as is Daddy Donkey - you might also find Taco Truck doing the rounds occasionally.

theres a bit of a gap in the market really for good texmex!

I could have lived at lupetortilla when we were in houston!

Wahaca or Lupita are by far the best for eating in (although they're both relaxed cafe style).

Daddy Donkey, Chilango, Benito's Hat, Freebird if you just want a quick lunchtime burrito.

You'll never go to Chiquitos again (and so you shouldn't!)

do any of these do a buffet kinda deal ?
big salad bar
tortillas
meat
salsas /quac etc.

Its so awesome here in Sweden... they have these lunch buffets all over the place. My local has a really decent salad cart. (ive turned gay)
