It is. I hate the single line back to front but the inside is great.

Better than current models.

The CLS is win but sorry I'm not feeling the 330Ci anywhere apart from the engine bay. If it didn't have the stick on mods then it would also be a win.

Love the shape and colour - shame it's not cream leather though - been in diesel 3.0 version and by heck that shifted -

That is definately my sort of car.

What sort of yearly cost would owning something like this? Im not talking tax, insurance or tires just any work that would need doing?

I'll let you know in a years time :p

There is a fair bit of stuff that has the potential to wrong as with any car really but most notable on this model I'd say is the airmatic suspension system and SBC braking system. Obviously consider general servicing/maintenance will be a bit higher too - it takes a lot of oil and needs 8 of everything. Brakes aren't particularly cheap either.

Lovely car, always liked that shape and the right engine as well, must have mad pick up ;)

A cheek ache inducing grin appears every time I've given it some pedal to the floor action - it drops a couple of gears and just eats the road ahead so quickly and effortlessly. I still maintain that the worst thing is that it accelerates so quickly, you don't get enough time to hear dat V8 as you'd end up doing silly speeds far too quickly!

Out of all the ones I went to see, I never saw one with cream leather. They were mostly black bar one with tan and one with grey and I definitely preferred the black - especially with the piano black trim.

Also, on a side note, shifting the E46 is proving a tedious process. There are a LOT of time wasters - its infuriating. I recently stuck it up for a bargain tastic £7k with a new MOT and 6 months tax and had people offering 1.5, 3.5, 4... I'm not in a rush to sell it but I'd rather it got used than just sit there half the time so dropped the price a hell of a lot but at the same time I don't want to let it go for a bag of change and a potato.

Now this is a thread worthy of the title "Didn't realise these were this cheap!" :)
