1200 gaming pc

This spec is a little over including delivery, but you should be able to get that knocked off with your post count.

The spec includes:

Better GPU - 780Ti
Hybrid HDD - faster for accessing / storing large applications etc.

If the system is going to be used for gaming then it would make sense getting an i5-4670k and overclocking, as it would give you the same results primarily for gaming.

1 x Asus GeForce GTX 780Ti DirectCUII OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £527.99

780ti Build. :)

780Ti Spec:
Still a worse clocked GPU,
100GB more SSD
Bad Case / HDD /
Cooler is not bad but the corsair water coolers are less maintenenance and look better for the price range, thats just personal opinion.

Should ideally have a i7 for this budget. Also, no cooler?

WD Black drives are not ideal for storage at all. Speed is not the driving factor when buying a storage drive - reliability and price / gigabyte is. The Black series are anachronisms today given the speed of SSD drives. And I cannot see the point in spending extra for a factory clocked card where the extra clock speeds are so minimal and can be achieved with a cheaper card yourself.

^ You can get a 2TB or even a 3TB shopping around for that price at almost no performance loss

The M500 isn't a particularly good SSD, due to the read/write speeds, though it will still be good :)

define not particularly good? i agree the m500 isnt the fastest, but the difference is negligible in real world tasks (ie outside of benchmarking) and it's 30 quid cheaper than the evo. i think it's the best bang for buck 240gb ssd at the moment.

Also that HDD is a bit overpriced, you can get a 2TB for £5 more and a 1TB for about £13 less.

the hdd i specced is 2.5" rather than 3.5" =)

I heard some problems people have been having with it, yeah the difference probably won't be much but will still be noticeable when writing to it.

(Didn't notice that 2.5" form factor, fail!)

I'd go for this instead;
