Anyone got a good one they can recommend?

Not sure what model will be needed to give the cars a good scrub every weekend?

Don't want to buy a weak one and regret it but ,also, don't want to spend more than I have to

You don't NEED to snow form. It is an extra step you can take but it is not required. I happily use mine to rinse wheels, clean wheels, rinse wheels, rinse the car, then normal car shampoo and then another rinse before drying.

lol

I've now got 2 broken jet washes, you can have both for 100 quid. I've not sold that well now I come to think of it......but one of them is a big yellow one.

I've got a K5 and love it, very powerful, but majorly overkill.

Don't forget to check out the karcher outlet if you're happy with a damaged box/refurb unit, some good savings to be had occasionally.

Is the K4 Eco a decent unit - not a bad price on the outlet?

No idea I'm afraid, best to check online for some reviews and the such :) My K5 is an "eco" which seems to give it another mode other than on that apparently uses less water. Never noticed much of a different myself tbh, not sure if the K4 would be the same.

Snow foam?

put a half inch layer of thick foam on you car and removes dirt and traffic film in about 5-10 mins without the use of a sponge.
just rinse off after the 5-10 mins.
best way to clean a car imo, gets into the places that you can't with a sponge or brush.

Most vastly overhyped car cleaning product on the net, a dirty car will remain a dirty car regardless of how much snow foam you spray at it.

Where do I get decent snow foam? And how do I apply it?
This is what I use with my K3:-

Snow Lance

Foam

You stick the lance on the end of your pressure washer with the liquid in it and then when you pull the trigger it sucks up the liquid and turns it into foam with the water from the pressure washer. Coat the car in it and leave it to soak for a 5-10minutes and it'll tend to remove the worst of heavy dirt and what's left can easily be removed with a wool mit.
