FB posts on other FB pages?

So I posted on a Doctors FB group page & my mom saw it on her page, I knew it said you posted on a page. I didn't know the post showed on friends' pages.

If they have notifications enabled for that page, then new posts show up.

No, no. Not just that. I've seen X posted on {insert a friend}'s timeline, when I'm not a friend with X at all, showing on my feed.

Don't post anything on farcebook that you don't want the entire planet to read. This should be law.

ive said my gf's friends are kids on there, i dont have them on my friends list, but my Gf liked it so it showed up to her friend.. even tho im set up as private..

i should really just delete facebook, i dont mind the fbi or cia etc reading my **** but hate the thought of the public reading in on my stuff :/
