Got My New Audi A6

Sorry, I don't get what you mean. What is wrong with it?

It's a monochrome display in a brand new current model executive saloon. It's exactly the sort of thing I'd have expected in an A6 10 years ago.

Both the 5 Series (Even with the base partial black panel display) and the Jag XF have proper LCD screens in that location. Seems like a really odd choice from Audi to go with that type of display.

Everything is an option. Just depends how much you want to spend.

About that crack I'd ring the dealer tomorrow and get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Audi not looking like a cheap alternative now...

My bog standard 61 plate C7 didn't come with Heated Seats, Xenon Head Lights, and folding mirrors. When I was looking, I am sure they were standard on the E class and BMW 5 Series (or at least they were specified).

The only reason I purchased mine, was because it was £15950 with 44k on the clock (one owner from new).

When I looked, anything under 20k did not have these options in the Audi range, at least the competitors have them.

I don't think Audi offer value for money at all, I brought one because my wife has always wanted an A6, and it is nice to have a German car compared to my previous Fords.

If I was bothered by having every toy, I would have gone for a Superb, which is more practical too.

Also in the Manual, the rear drink holders are in the centre armrest.

Nice car, even nicer house :)

We bought the house a year or so ago and got it done up, and moved in a few weeks ago :D

Its such a nice car, you can forgive it!

Also do you notice any difference with the drive select?

A little with the acceleration but have been avoiding the settings until I get more used to the car.

I have a first aid kit in the rear arm rest but no cup holders... guess the passengers can hold their drinks.

There's no cup holders in the back, but on our C7 avant the rear door bins are plenty big enough for a bottle of water. (assuming the C7 saloon is similar)

Yeah, the door bins in our saloon are big enough for a bottle of water...quite a big one.

You can get rear cup holders in the centre armrest (they pop out) as an option.

More spec is standard as you go up the range. SE is obviously the lowest and rather dull compared to a S-line which should come standard with xenons, climate control, nicer steering wheel/leather interior etc. :)

The ride comfort wasn't as nice in the S-Line than the SE but it was a minor compromise with all the extras you get :)

Trouble is S-Line also comes with suspension that is completely at odds with the point of this sort of car, meaning you end up stuck trying to find a high spec SE if you want an executive car that rides like an executive car.

The S-Line is absolutely fine as long as you stay away from the 20" wheels.

You should be able to order a new car with the s-line pack but opt out of the suspension, so you get SE suspension on a nice spec/bigger wheels.
