Will cannabis 'fumes' affect me?

Was a response to your moronic comment about me living under a rock because I wasn't an idiotic chav who drunk white lightning by the gallon and did weed.

Chavs and white lightning did not exist when I was young. :p

My feeling is you are making assumptions about me, based on my initial reply.

I wouldn't say you're stuck up, just not educated in the ways and that's not something to be ashamed of.

Regards the smell getting stronger, I'd say that if they're growing it and it's that noticeable then it can't be too far away. Whoever it is hasn't got very good filtration, so you probably won't have to worry about it for much longer as they'll be a doddle to sniff out.

Or the plants are quite close to harvesting and curing, so again you won't have to worry for much longer.

Failing all that, your neighbour just had a doob before you got back from work. Keep an eye out of Dominos delivery drivers. :D

You be tree huggers coming to save the forest ?

oh yes :p lol

This actually made me think of the recently news story I read about drug dealers no longer growing their own harvests, but using the same technology that the police use to find the 'farms' of other dealers and just steal them :D

Fumes of burning cannabis will affect anyone - whilst attending to my day-to-day job, i've been in houses that've been a hazy atmosphere of the stuff. You don't realise anything until you've been in there an hour or so... by that time, you're so chilled it doesn't matter!

Weed has many medical properties.. so it could actually be good for you ;)

Death count of cigs = Miiiilllions of lives

Death count of weed = Sod all

Get a little perspective here.

It's also been shown to enable schizophrenia when used in excess. But I suppose , if like me, you're lonely, having voices in your head takes that pain away. ;)

Yeah maybe if they have underlying mental conditions anyway.. sure it could.. Actually i'm a little like you because i have used weed to help with "the voices i had in my head" and it did indeed take the pain away. How did you know? ;)

I know some people when they drink too much alcohol they turn into a right ****.

I smoked cannabis almost daily for about 4-5 years during my late teens and early twenties. Then I started becoming delusional and hearing voices. At first I was misdiagnosed with what the psychiatrists called 'psychotic episodes'. But in my early thirties I was eventually diagnosed correctly as a paranoid schizophrenic. Fortunately for me, my condition was more easily treatable with medication (15mg tablet of Olanzapine every day) than many others who have it worse than me.

My psychiatrist, CPN and GP have all told me that I was probably pre-disposed to my condition genetically, however my abusive use of cannabis at that age played a large part in my illness.

If I could turn back the clock, I would never have smoked cannabis. But I have to live with my mistakes. Happily, I'm perfectly sane and normal 99% of the time on my medication, but I do still have my crazy days, even after all these years.
