Xbox one + FIFA 14 = £329 on OCUK

Does anyone remember the staff member insisting the prices of these consoles would be at least 500 quid when they were taking preordered money up front :p

I was astonished when I found out the PS4 was going to be retailed for £350 at launch, especially since the PS3 was around £425 or £450 iirc.

I was guessing a £400-£450 launch price.

When the PS4 specs and RRP was released it pretty much sealed the fate of the XB1 for me. Overpriced and underpowered console, the price cuts have came too late IMO and the XB1 should have been kinect less and £250 at launch with an optional kinect bundle at £350.
 
I still got a crazy good price for my xbox one on here off metalface mark so I'm not bitter about it, but yeah launch price was damn high (I'd be slightly peeved if I was day one buyer but they obv thought it was worth it at the time)

I was surprised it was even near 400 given the storm bout the ps3 at 425 quid launch...
 
Great price for a console from OcUK, shame a lot of their PC parts prices are not a bit more competitive. Maybe they should become a console and games retailer instead :p

if they are not competitive on something ask for a discount and show where its cheaper and they will usually match or beat the price, they always have for me.
