Johnson is crap. I don't get why Liverpool don't put Flanagan at RB and Cissokho at lb. I recall Cissokho having a decent game at the Emptihad.
I think that would be very harsh, but he'll be gone soon if he doesn't calm down
It needs to be a double punishment (pen and red) if the goal isn't guaranteed, but if you foul somebody knowing the goal will be given anyway, it's pointless
You don't know a goal would be given though (even if penalty goals were given) because if the ref misses it, you get away with it. The double punishment is a deterrent to make the risk not worth it.

They have a very similar record after his firing. They started off relatively strong, they were dropping at that point and looked terrible. Mackay was putting pressure on the owner to spend, after he'd already spent 50mil on Mackay's buys which were mostly poop, big money on a striker who didn't play and was utterly hopeless. Mackay deserved firing.
The biggest difference to Cardiff isn't their results or improving, they were only 16th because those below them were horrendous, west brom have improved, palace have improved and Cardiff were dropping down the table.
With big backing he bought, like Houghton, entirely the wrong striker, got incredibly poor value for money, was getting awful results that were getting worse and then basically had a go at the owner asking for more money. If they bought another non league quality striker for 10mil, would it have helped? owner had no reason to back Mackay at all by that point.
Mackay went up in the champ because Cardiff spent huge. Other teams build a lower prem team and go up, Mackay built a championship team with huge money.
