Irrational, or pretty standard?

Six months have now passed since I assembled my first 'custom' water cooling loop. As suggested by many enthusiasts, it is time to bleed and clean it.

As I am disassembling my loop to some extent, it now has me thinking, "if you want to add something to your loop, now would be the best time to do it. You'll save yourself some admin for later on in the year, when you start overclocking etc, and require the additional cooling". So here I am, pricing up £160 worth of additional cooling(rads etc.), plus an additional 780gtx classy with waterblocks, simply because I'm re-bleeding my loop... probably unnecessarily.

Does this happen to everyone when they re-bleed their loop?

Depending on the coolent you use you might not have to service your loop for a year, see what the manufacture says.

If you have the money go for the upgrade l know l would.

Plus l went 2 years with out servicing the loop just the odd top up, no problems at all still clear, no aliens, temps no increase.

Yup, I put off bleeding and cleaning until I have new components ready, specifically because of this.

Currently trolling ebay/elsewhere for a tube res so I can fit my new pump and completely replace my old XSPC bay res/pump. Also keeping an eye out for more rads, as I've currently only got a 240 and 120 in my Enthoo, which feels like a waste.

If you've got an Enthoo and only 120+240 rads, I'd imagine that the urge to stuff it full of cards and rads must be pretty overwhelming :) I know it would be for me.
