Hi All,

I've sold some stuff and can now treat myself to a new GPU. My funds extend to a GTX 770 (upgrading from a GTX 470). There appears to be quite a few out there. Any recommendations as well as one's to avoid?

Cheers
DK

I had Zotac 660Ti for a while, was noisy and crashed Valley at factory overclocks. so would avoid.

IIRC I've seen few GTX780s going for around 250 in MM, so if you have access there, have a look.

I assumed he would, he's registered since 2010. I'm sure the rules were less stricter then compared to now.

but anyway, for example this sold on 7th April

Palit GTx780 3GB
Great card, clocks very well indeed on stock voltages. Comes with the Titan style cooler, fully boxed etc.

NVIDIA GTX 780
2304 CUDA Cores
863 MHz Base Clock
902 MHz Boost Clock
165.6GT/s Texture Fill Rate

Looking for £265 delivered, sold to goodl

Seen a few deals for nice 770's around £225. Wouldn't pay much more than that as your approaching R9 290 price level which is a much better buy circa £300.

At £225- GTX 770 or R9 280X.

At £300+ R9 290 or GTX 780.

I want to get my new card this week so need to make a buying choice by latest Thursday I guess. If anyone know of someone selling a 780 then great. If not then it's the Evga 770.

Same as all these dupe 770 threads, would you buy a 680 today?

If no then a 770 is basically a rehashed 680, IMO a 780 is min even if 2nd hand.
