***The Official Battlefield 4 Thread***

I think an upset is on the cards, Arsenal have been poor of late compared to their earlier form.

The Gunners will pull through, it's their entry into the champions league that's on stake now. To Wenger that seems more important than winning the premier league.

Any of the PS4 crew on again tonight?

do you have premium? add us using the PSN app on android/ios all names are in the OP.

what is the current premium appreciation event thing going on currently?

i managed to unlock like 4 battle packs in a round last night as i got a few service stars and played well.

Not on Premium yet, payday this Friday so I'll grab it then.

I think the bonus thing is 100% XP at the moment, saw it on the main menu yesterday.

I'll be online in a few days, no broadband again at the moment :(

I'll probably be back with VM in 2 months time going from 120MB DL and 5MB UL to 13MB and 1MB has been painful at times.

That's why I don't know at times whether it's me lagging or the game.

Try doing a pingtest at "peak" times. See how much jitter your connection has.

My VM Ping and jitter used to be really high, although the download speed was awesome 60mb dl it made online games unplayable due to lag and youtube would always buffer. Since I've been with BT I've not had any problems with either since.

You can set one up to do this for you here :)

pings are fine it's bandwidth which is the issue.

I have 2 sky+ hd boxes with pushed on demand content, pc's, laptops, sky go on 360, several smartphones, tablets etc all sharing the same connection as my PS4.

13MB with 1MB just isn't enough, when the other half uses instagram I get lag for instance.

I'm around now, happy to jump on at 7:30ish, also never though a huge thread of BF4 would result in one page of NUFC discussion :D

We're gonna get trounced man, I hope to ruin lat's stream again by being 2 mins ahead of his again ;)

Still absolutely god awful.

You, or the game :p.

I think they've improved things quite well. We had some good games the other night on the PS4 without any rubberbanding on the usual offenders.

NS is still unplayable, that or I just logged into a bad server.

Your download and upload speed aren't really important for gaming as online gaming only really needs small amount of upload. Ping and any packet loss are what's important.
