Get off the phone and DRIVE

Is there a joke I am missing or asking if I worked for the games publisher/company, if so no.

Midway produced Mortal Kombat, and had a habit during the making of those games of converting any word naturally spelt with a 'c' and changing it for a 'k' ('combat' being the obvious example). You spelt the word 'cull' as 'kull'....

...nevermind

Wow much compassion,

So respect

Many sympathies.

Have a heart you cretin. She paid the price for her error, name calling her when she is deceased is just crass.

You stuck on meme cannon mode?

She is a bit of a stupid bint but i still feel sorry for her family

Reminds me of this...

I hate the retards at traffic lights that think! "Oh I must send this life or death message before they turn green".

Better that then to try it why the car is in motion.

I just wish voice commands worked better. Getting my phone to read out texts is pretty easy but replying to them or getting the sat nav working without button presses is frustrating & way to dangerous.

That poor truck driver, even if he's not injured I bet he's traumatised having just driven his truck into a car which exploded and killed the driver. Whether the other driver was at fault or not - it's not nice.

I'm starting to think the selfie is the beginning of natural selection wiping out the weakest of the herd. A load of nonsense for morons without a mind of their own, first that dumb kid who died from a "selfie addiction" (good, hope it was painful) and now this dumb cow (good, hope it was painful).

Tragic for the innocent involved.

The UK needs to start toughening up on the law on using mobiles while driving. In my opinion, being caught should come with a ban so set an example to others and possibly save someones life.

I nearly came a cropper on a motorbike because some woman swerved into my side of the road while her head was down at the phone. After passing, she had no idea that I had to pull right over to let her pass.. It was only that i caught sight of her head earlier enough that i was able to move over.. a fraction os a second later and I would have been over her car. Dead dad with kids because her testing is far more important.

Pure arrogance.

I agree we need to be tougher on bad drivers but you can't single out mobiles specifically. So the guy who presses 'call reject' briefly and is spotted gets banned, but the guy concentrating on getting his graphic equalizer on hi stereo just right whilst going 70 down the local A Road, or staring at the latest Wonderbra billboard and nearly crashes gets just points and a ticking off?

There are lots of distractions on the road, I don't see why the law needs to treat mobile phones in some special category and why using one can't fall under driving without due care an attention.

This tbh, you'd think a 32 year old grown woman would have the common sense not to drive down a motorway, during rush hour, whilst taking & posting a selfie, still atleast it was only a garbage truck she nailed & not a bus.

Damn glad the truck driver walked away unharmed, hate it when innocent people pay the price for others stupidity.
Sadly he's likely going to pay the price for the rest of his life. It was obviously not his fault that she died but he's going to live with that accident for a very long time.

But everyone knows the dangers yet as using a mobile phone becomes the norm people get complacent.
Unfortunately it seems to me that the dangers of driving on a mobile phone are no longer a concern to a lot of motorists. I see several regularly on every commute I do - a lot of them are women driving 4x4 tractors after dropping the kid at the private schools in the centre of town. They struggle to realise how wide their car is at the best of times, let alone driving one handed whilst talking on the phone, but the worst are the Van drivers who are [crass generalisation] generally the worst drivers anyway.

that could have been me, my wife and three children in the oncoming car,

I truly believe people on Mobile devices in cars should be treated like drink drivers, and I believe they will be in a few years time,

totally unacceptable, and this girl paid the ultimate price, just glad no one else was killed.

Tragic, but only the woman involved is to blame. Not the smartest thing to do, and a good advert not to use your phone while driving.

Like any death though (well, most), it is sad that she paid for the mistake with her life while so many other idiots get away with it every day. RIP.

I saw someone on the phone yesterday while drinking a can of coke, while driving.

I really wish I became a copper, I'd have so much fun with morons like this.

Asking for it really taking your focus off the road and your surroundings like that.

Obviously tragic, but easily avoided.
