Which GFX card would be good for these monitors?

I currently have a AMD hd7950 Boost 2gb and gaming at 1920x1080.

I'm looking at upgrading to a:
  • LG 34" UM65 2560 x 1080
  • LG 34" UM95 3440 x 1440
  • Samsung 28" U28D590 3840×2160

So, I'm guessing that the 7950 would struggle. I could choose a gtx 770 2gb, I know 4gb will be better (with free Watch_Dogs), or some other 3gb AMD gpu.

Advice welcome.

For the love of god man do not get a 770, full stop. Your 7950 is capable enough. The 7950 will handle 2560x1080 fine, but you may have to lower details in a few games. However you could always add a second card and can then probably max out most games, if you sacrifice a bit of AA here and there.

I'm on a mITX board, so xFire is a no-no.

Furry muff well i still don't recommend a 770 under any circumstance. Even if you got the 4gb version it would not have the grunt required to make use of it.

I would look to get a 290 or a 780, if you can afford it? Will provide extra grunt to make use of the available vram.

If not the 7950 should have enough grunt for you to play at medium to high details.
