Possibility of contamination of the meat is kept next to each other, prepared in the same area and prepared by people wearing the same gloves......

Surely it's up to Subway to enforce meat preparation rules?

I'm not sure I'm getting this right - NO ham or bacon at Subway? Won't they have to wipe out a fair chunk of their menu?

If you don't like it, don't buy it. Munching a Subway is not a basic human right. Go somewhere that serves non-halal food.

That's exactly what I do, have you not read the whole thread ? Pretty sure I made my point on Halal earlier more than once. :confused

Correct it is but they've chosen not to waste time and money doing so. The amount of profit from selling ham and bacon products in their Halal stores is probably outweighed by the Halal products.

If only 10 customers buy a bacon sandwich and 1000 buy a chicken sandwich it's probably worth dropping the bacon instead of fussing over contamination and they will increasing their customers because there is a demand for Halal meat in that particular store.

You'll need to explain your logic then because actually it isn't.

I'm afraid I can't make it any simpler. In the immortal words of Samuel Johnson: 'Sir, I have found you an argument; but I am not obliged to find you an understanding.'

You're just assuming something and then trying to assert it as fact. This is know as the argument from ignorance. Another common fallacy.

No, I'm not. And no, it isn't. Click here to learn how the argument from ignorance is defined.

How do you reason with clueless peeps like yourself?

What happens here is none of your concern, I do not care what you do in the land of OZ.

My wife and I are both British citizens and up until the middle of last year we were paying taxes to the UK government.

So yes, what happens in the UK is of our concern.

I'll be honest, I find it much more annoying having to wait until 10/11am to go to the garden centre on a Sunday than I do walking into a Subway to find it's a Halal one. Thanks Christians - now it's raining and I can't build my new barbeque

I concur, why does nobody bitch and moan about this? Subway are just doing what they feel is best for profit at the end of the day and that's what a business is meant to do. Gurn up.

Meh, semantics...

Religious discimination or intolerance then if you must. Keep up the crusade brother.

Animals bled out and killed in name of religion, is that not old school like the Aztecs, Maya, and Inca did to the Sun God lol?

They can do what they like in their own country.

Again they would not let us force our views/lifestyles on them in their home country, bet you will think that is all ok though.

Double standards.
