Good evening forum members I'm looking for some help with specing a friends system.

The computer is intended for gaming so any suggestions would be great.

Windows 7 needed, CPU, GPU, RAM, HDD, CASE, CD ROM, Motherboard and a power supply of course.

Would preferably take a dual core intel over a amd Quad core.

YOUR BASKET
1 x MSI GeForce GTX 750Ti OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (N750Ti-2GD5/OC) £103.99
1 x Intel Core i3-4130 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £82.99
1 x Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-02733) £73.99
1 x Seagate SSHD 7200RPM 3.5" 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DX001) SSHD Hybrid Drive £59.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan ORANGE 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLAD38G2400HC11CDC01) £55.99
1 x Asus H81M-E Intel H81 (Socket 1150) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £37.99
1 x SuperFlower Amazon 300W "80 Plus Bronze" Power Supply £29.99
1 x Zalman T2 Plus Mini-Tower USB 3.0 - Black £19.99
1 x Pioneer 24x Internal DVR-221LBK DVD Rewriter - OEM £16.99
1 x OcUK Tech Labs Zaward OEM 120mm Golf Ball Fan £2.99
Total : £494.51 (includes shipping : £8.00).

i3 + 750ti
8gb ram, 2400mhz, fast ram for haswell (haswell likes fast ram)
1tb sshd, best of both worlds, much faster compared to a standard hdd, and 70% of the performance of a ssd+hdd combo
you get free shipping so knock that off the price

and before someone asks: omgwtf only 300w psu, 750ti don't need much power to run - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/1130 (sub 200w at full gaming/furmark load)

Honestly guys I like Stulid's build better for the GPU however I think I'll recommend my friend Tamzzy' CPU and Mobo over the AMD Six core. What'd you think Stulid? Or do you think in general the extra cores from the AMD are going to be better than the better two cores of the intel? :D
