Don't see the need to remove bacon and ham. Provide halal as an alternative I have no problems with at all, but removing ham and bacon because people have complained? Just stupid. It gets sold without any problems anywhere in the UK.
Maybe in your world and your own little dictionary .

This is the right thing surely. Tesco sells bacon, asda sells bacon, morrisons sells bacon, sainsburys sells bacon. Whats going to be next, everywhere should stop selling bacon because people are complaining about it?

no Christians are bias and judgemental of lots of things. They'll judge you for tatoos heck they'll complain abotu a tv program before it's aired.
All religion breeds the same ignorance and lack of tolerance it may appear more unreasonable and unfair from the eastern origins but part of that is becuase even if you're an atheist you were brought up a little bit tolerant of Christianity.
I'm not in anyway justifying it arranged marriages are bad and the shame people get for not living to them is stupid.
But it wasn't 40+ years ago that the same thing pretty much happened in the UK anyway. Wasn't until the 90's that divorce and such things became such a bearable reality. you were judged you were treated as weird if you couldn't keep your marriage.
They are a little bit behind and will eventually have to accept the reality of the western world even if they try and resist it now.

The beauty of Britain is the freedom and equality you get to enjoy if you want to protect that you do not vote for ukip you learn to tolerate and deal with the changes that occur not matter how strange they may seem. Freedom means change, Change is always inevitable sometimes it may seem like you can't control it but you have to embrace it if you want to keep your freedom. as soon as you start making laws to protect you from others choices you remove your own freedoms. if you want to be a modern day slave go ahead vote ukip but you'll become the thing you believe you are currently trying to protect people from. TRAPPED.

Diversity and acceptance is important but we can't make them accept our ways any more than they can make us. The harder we push the stronger they resist has history taught us nothing? The sooner all parties involved realise this the better.

Much higher risk of contamination. A small Subway store simply doesn't have room to do it.
The Tesco near me has separate normal and Halal butchers, in separate areas, with separate staff.
Why would that happen? Nobody is complaining about selling bacon.
They cannot make moral judgements though, We can and we can eat rice and tofo and vitamin supliments including iron and zinc. And you can get it delivered to your door. Animals really have little option but to be brutal to get meat or a meat suppliment.
It makes me laugh about halal anyways if sky pixie really cared about animal welfare, Explain the sheep and the wolf.

Note that I'm not saying it's wrong, not at all. Just that the act of killing in itself is not humane. I don't disagree with it, but it's with regards to the notion of humane killing, as killing is not humane, and is somewhat contradictory to me.
You could kill it in its sleep heavily drugged that would be humane. As in the method of killing would be humane but the act would not as the little bugger would never see daylight again or jump across the fields and play with the other little animals.

"Grow up" is not an adequate response to something you don't like. It doesn't take away from anything he said, people aren't fooled in to think he's talking immature rubbish because you've told him to "grow up".
