Explains why my Turkey Breast and Ham has become Turkey Breast and Turkey Ham?

Hold on a sec while I search for some care...

...

...

...nope, all out. Guess I will have to find more important things to worry about, like whether I need to pick my nose or not.

Brilliant contribution to the thread. Really insightful. I firmly believe you've advanced the dialogue in a positive manner. Keep up the good work and keep checking those testicles for lumps. ;)

That's it, Subway are on my banned list.

We should not be conforming to religious views of any background. This is backwards thinking.

Religion needs eradicating and its quite sad in these days with the amount of free knowledge out there that religion is still as relevant as it is.

Why is it any different to "conforming" to any other kind of consumer demand?

Honestly this forum scares the crap out of me sometimes, you people get to vote and all sorts.

I think at least some of the upset in general is probably because we've had several decades with immigrants from various countries and cultures where nothing's needed to change. All of a sudden, people see things changing for one particular minority and that's where the trouble starts and where people feel annoyed.

I've grown up with Jamaicans and Indian Sikhs and Hindus and never really thought anything of it because they've integrated seamlessly, at least in my local community. Recent immigrants around my area don't seem to want to talk to anyone tbh. Not talking about Muslims btw, more the Eastern Bloc lot who like to get drunk and noisy on the street corners and the Sub-Saharan Africans who have streams of people going in and out of their doors for no apparent reason. This makes people uncomfortable.

Anyways, sorry, I've had a few beers and that's a bit off topic. :p

EDIT: Oh damn it, I got sucked in. :/

I'm sick of religion having any relevance and influence over anything at all.

Religion is BS. The faster we all get on board, the faster we can progress.

Human skulls evolving over millions of years. This itself chews up religion and spits it out. You can't argue against it, as its fact.

And you would be able to, for example on these forums, coherently argue that from your own position of knowledge or would it based upon someone elses?

Are you saying I cannot mention Human evolution of skulls because somebody else researched it?

Its general knowledge?

No I am not saying you can't mention it I am saying you may not understand it enough to fully comprehend why the theory says what it does. Therefore, you are taking the word of someone else - therefore you taking something on faith which apparently is all mumbojumbo ... the inner workings of science that undermine the story religion has told for many years is hardly common knowledge. The names are the basic concepts are but the real nitty gritty - well we take that it is done properly on faith.

What are you on about. Your trying to make things more complicated than they are.

You don't need to fully research a topic to grasp the main principles of it. We all know what evolution is.

There's a difference between faith of the bible where you cannot see for yourself what's being told and faith of a textbook describing and showing actual pictures of the human skull evolution. If I wanted to, I could go to a museum and even look at the evidence myself.

But you are accepting something as a 'fact' that you are unable to actually prove yourself. Therefore, you take it on 'faith' that the people who do actually understand it and can test for it are doing it correctly. You yourself do not have that ability.

But that's okay to do that for science because it's special and different. And yet you won't allow religious people the same luxury. To accept something on faith using their own weight of evidence. Now even for a non-believer like me that smacks of hypocrisy.

Now I personally believe there is no god or gods. I personally believe that the world is governed by the laws of science but I am also well aware I make massive a priori assumptions to come to this position that are equally stretched as those who believe in a god. For a start I am presuming you even exist - now that's a big stretch right there, that there is a universe at all that has scientific laws in it.

Which ever way you want to twist it you are no better positioned - you can look at the evidence yourself but you don't really understand it completely. You take it on faith you are only shown one part of the picture. You are also limiting the debate to what can be considered evidence.

At least science is happy to keep pushing the boundaries and adapt when it's proved wrong. :D

I'm laughing what I'm reading.

Are you unable to make objective decisions and weigh up things by yourself and make judgement calls?

Its quite sad if you are unable to do this.

Your actually saying to take a level approach to a person having faith in the bible to someone who has faith for archaeologists that have researched human skull fossils and journaled their findings for all to see?

If you can't see the difference in this, I can't be bothered to reply to you anymore.

"Strong demand" does not mean complaints! You appear to have twisted the actual issue being reported to suit your own argument.

Apologies, lets rephrase my comment. Everywhere should stop selling bacon because people 'demand' it.

End of the day, the same point remains valid. Whether they 'demand' or 'complain'.
