Evening all,

Was given one of these for a repair job on a PC.
But i need to either find the outshell for it or a replacement cooler.

Any ideas on where i can get them from?

I don't wish to sound rude but is it worth repairing? I would buy another from an auction site and it would probably be cheaper.

Edit:

Scrap that, just looked and they are going for silly money. Stick an Arctic accelero on it :)

no idea - its the whole reason i asked :)
Im only looking to see if its easier to sell with broken stock cooler or pick one up cheap and then sell :)

It is the whole shell with fan and heatsink. It is fully functional (though needs a good clean). I have mislaid the screws though.

We can't sell outside of the MM and I have no idea what it is worth. I basically replaced it with a Gelid Icy Vision Rev 2 cooler before I ended up selling it on for £60.00 a couple of months ago.

I think 5870's go for about £40 - £50 at the moment in the MM so worth bearing in mind. Maybe more on auction sites.

I'll list it in there for a tenner or so inc postage if you think it is fair.

Lol 1000 posts? Will take some serious spam to get to that which would prob result in a kicking. :-D
Any way round it, perhaps I will contact admin and see if they could offer advice, really need to get my hands on it

with mine - the parts where it screws to the PCB are snapped off and part of the inside of the plastic shell is snapped -> bit heavy handed when taking it off :)
I could potentially glue a few parts but it wouldnt be solid as there's very little to glue it to :D
If your comment refers to me saying the cooler is different then i just assumed that with it looking different it may have a slightly different layout in term of where the screws would go.

Ah :D
I was thinking you could just strap a fan to it or something.
I'm not sure the reference cooler would work, as the XFX card uses a non-reference PCB and I think it's shorter.
