DPD: Sunday deliveries!

Wait, so they think I can fit breakfast and walking the dog between a lie in lunch? That would mean getting up at something stupid like 10am.

I prefer corner shop drop off service so I can collect deliveries in my own time without having to wait in.

Its what? A tenner for Saturday delivery regardless if you get free delivery. Sunday will be another tenner for sure. No way would I pay £20 for delivery.

Having to wait in all day for deliveries can be quite annoying... but DPD have the tracker and given a one hour window in which the parcel will arrive, which makes it a far better experience/means you can get out of the house and do stuff without worrying about being unlucky.

Move to one of those council flats.

I think if the DPD drivers want to earn extra money, and customers want to pay extra for a sunday delivery where's the problem?

This. Whether you think there's "a point" in it or not, clearly they've seen a business case, which means clearly people require the service.

If you never use it, it never bothers you, but for the one time you desperately need something on a Sunday, it would be useful :)

Indeed. People just like to have a whinge sometimes.
