*** Nokia Lumia 930 ***

From a 920 you get much better camera, 930 if its like the icon will have awesome battery life, a lot more power in the S800, more ram, better build, lighter, list could keep on going.

Its a very solid upgrade. Apps I can't to speak what your using but its getting there now, off course there are a lot of cool Android apps that won't really work to well on WP due to the locked down nature, things like Push bullet that I really love I wouldn't expect on WP unless MSFT made a version. Most are things are there now, some just need to update and polish more.
 
Been reading online that 930 pre-orders will come with an extra wireless charger, Bluetooth speaker and app store credit which is good. Hope this includes sim-free pre-orders.
 
Apparently it is up for pre-order from a German retailer for €599.... that's Euros, not pounds, so it doesn't look as if it is going to be that cheap unfortunately.

Availability (they say!) is down for 15th May... in three weeks time, although that may not be for us here in the U.K.... or anywhere else for that matter.

Edit: One website is even saying "In order to push the new features of the 930 Nokia will be offering a free wireless charger with every Lumia 930, plus if you pre-order you'll also get another one and a Bluetooth speaker free as well."

We will just have to wait and see!!

I always buy sim free and had anticipated it being about £500. Would be great to get those extras. I wish Nokia would say which retailers will have the pre-order bonus as I'd rather get direct from them or someone like the rainforest
 
Be surprised if we get them on Sim free, they money isn't made on SIm free, its made Via Networks and customers signing up to long contracts.

Makes no difference to MS, only makes a different to operators.
Every other phone has been available sim free, sometimes a month or two latter.

Decided last night to see if I could pick up a 1520 to try the larger form factor. Unless you pay full whack they are like hens teeth. Was hoping to pick a new one up around £350, that wasn't from Hong Kong

Just buy one on eBay, that's a upgrade they don't want or been used for two days and decided it was two big.
They all have factory warranty. Mo idea why people are so put off by such items, other than the 520 I had all my phones are from the bay. Save money and hassle.

I've been trawling ebay but the amount of uk ones for sale is v limited, just missed out on one that was an unwanted gift.
